New Job

Finally after a few weeks of hunting, I’ve gotten a job here in Sydney at an architectural firm called Robertson+Marks. YIPEE. So now I’ve got to train myself to think in metric, get comfortable using Vista, all the while understand Aussie (fast) talk and slang. I feel like I’m just out of school again! What a cool job I’m getting to work on as well … Top Ryde (www.toprydecity.com.au). This complex is massive, with 30 or so architects working on the entire project. R+M is working on a few of the parking levels as well as the 5 residential towers. A phased job, construction has already begun on the retail.... exciting times!
